Eric Bautista is presently appointed as Head of Energy & Environmental Management with Taisei Corporation under the project assignment in Bandaranaike International Airport Development, Katunayake, Sri Lanka. In this role, Eric provides LEED & Environmental expertise to implement the airport project's requirement during Construction Phase. Eric manages and interacts with entire project management team including design and construction teams executing LEED requirements for Airport New Construction – in order to achieve the required energy and environmental performance of the project.

Eric is a certified LEED Accredited Professional by the U.S. Green Building Council with the specialty in Building Design and Construction. He is also a registered Mechanical Engineer and a DOLE-Accredited Environment, Safety & Health Practitioner, with nearly 20 years overall professional experience in the fields of Building Design, Construction and Project Management, Facility Management, and HVAC Design & Construction. He also achieved the Certification in RETScreen Use for energy efficiency management (CRU) by The International Institute for Energy Training (The Econoler, Canada). Recently, Eric was upgraded into one of the LEED Subject Matter Experts by GBCI in the development of LEED Green Associate Credentialing Examinations. Eric spent much of his early professional career in Project and Engineering Management with recognized industrial firms. He was extensively involved in LEED Sustainable Design, Construction, and Project Management of past successful projects in South Luzon.

Eric joined Taisei Corporation in 2020, prior to which he worked as a Sr. Project Manager of Santos Knight Frank, Inc. and LEED Project Consultant managing LEED consulting, certification, and sustainable building construction of real state projects. He streamlines LEED certification works for various LEED Rating System such as BD+C Building Design & Construction, ID+C Interior Design & Construction, and O+M Operation & Maintenance to fulfill clients’ requirement. Throughout his professional career, Eric has been engaged in technical speaking with various conventions and public events, sharing technical ideas and encouraging stories about environmental sustainability and LEED success in Asia Pacific Region.
