NC-v4.1 MRc1:Building Life-Cycle Impact Reduction

Pathway to use EN 15804:2012+A2 EPDs for MR Credit "Building Life-Cycle Impact Reduction"

Hello,
We have a project registered under LEED v4.1 BD+C (NC), pursuing MR Credit "Building Life-Cycle Impact Reduction," Option 2 (Whole Building Life-Cycle Assessment), modeled in OneClickLCA. The majority of the products used in the building construction have recently published EPDs and hence are compliant with EN 15804:2012+A2, which uses EF (Environmental Footprint) characterization factors rather than the CML methodology LEED v4.1 requires. Sourcing EN 15804:2012+A1-compliant EPDs isn't a workable alternative either as these EPDs will have expired under their standard 5-year validity period well before our anticipated certification submission in 2028, and all newer versions of EPDs for these products will be +A2 compliant.
Therefore we request your guidance on how to proceed further and whether there is a pathway to use +A2 EPDs and the impact categories it reports to satisfy this credit's requirements.
