NC-v4 LTc7:Reduced parking footprint

Parking Base Ratios for Rescue Station

Hello,

I am working on a building for a rescue squad which also includes a classroom/training room on a college campus. The building area is about 13,500 sf and will have a nominal occupancy of 74. We are including 26 parking spaces. I can't find any building types similar to this in the appendix, does anyone have experience documenting this credit for a similar project type?

Hi Anna, My take would be to provide a narrative to the Reviewer stating that an exact usage type does not exist in the Appendix, but that an office type usage (state the spaces/sf req'd) could be considered appropriate.  Then carry on with the project details of spaces provided, etc.
