LCA: is waste % required?

I'm curious if % of materials waste is typically included in the LEED LCA analysis? Not seeing a specific language for it on the LEED guide. For example, when calculating the total weight/linear footage for studs and tracks, do I apply any additional percentage to account for material waste/unused pieces (given that the studs and tracks are sold in standard lengths and not continuous). If I need to do so, is there a good resource for such estimations?
