Parapets, roof edge metal, and walkway pads

Hello,

when calculating roof areas and SRI, how do you count metal coping and/or coping stones, roof walkway pads if a different material, roof hatches and other accessory components that do not have an SRI value?

Hi Erik, The Reference Guide states that "Applicable roof area excludes roof area covered by mechanical equipment, solar energy panels,
skylights, and any other appurtenances." I believe I have always excluded metal coping and coping stones, as well as the roof hatches and accessories (as the 'appurtanances'). Walkways, though, should be included.
