Internal Connectivity of a 3ha ND project. How to calculate?

Hi, All!
 

Dear Community, 

One of my current projects has a 3hectare territory (more than 5acre), and with all its characteristics goes under LEED ND (it has a "City-in-a-City" concept).

The credit required 54 intersections per sq km. 3 hectare is 0.03 sq km. Does this mean, that the required number of internal intersections is at least 2? It just looks strange as a requirement.

Marine, your calculation is correct: a 3 ha project site needs at least 2 internal intersections. Those intersections can be motorized-to-motorized, motor-to-non motor, or non mortor-to-non motor. Eliot
