Guidance on Green Wall Irrigation Requirements

Hello,

We are proposing a green wall for our project, which will require irrigation and must adhere to the guidelines outlined in Option 2 of this credit. However, we were unable to locate the specific landscape coefficient (KL) and water requirements for green walls (vertical elements) within the credit/credit calculator.

Could you please advise on the appropriate way forward to address this feature? Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

For your green wall, since the credit calculator does not provide specific landscape coefficients (KL), you should calculate KL based on the plant species, density, and microclimate conditions using resources like WUCOLS or guidance from a landscape professional. Document your methodology and ensure the irrigation design aligns with the water efficiency goals of Option 2.
