Data-Centers-NC-v4.1 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performance

Additional minimum requirement

Hi everyone,

We're performing a LEED V4.1 Datacentre certification. LEED V4 stated that in addition to all "regular" minimum requirements, the project should also achieve "(...) a minimum of 2% of the 5% energy savings must come from building power and cooling infrastructure." 

Is there such a requirement in LEED V4.1? I am unable to find any reference to it in the July 2024 Beta version of the Reference Guide.

That provision was removed. Under v4 you had to get 5% savings. Under v4.1 you just have to meet the standard's requirements. Since no savings are required you don't have to obtain any savings from the power or cooling infrastructure either.
