Hi I am working on a LEED ID+C project for a building that was built in 1970s with 60% WWR, now the struggle here is the Existing system is Dual Duct VAV system with FPB at exterior zone with electric heat and we dont have enough information on the Delta Ts for Hot and cold water so I am using the same numbers as of baseline and the baseline system is VAV with reheat. For envelope we do not have enough information so I am using the same envelope as of 90.1-2010 but baseline system is VAV with reheat along with Economizer and the WWR is limited to only 40% based on all these assumptions the energy model is giving negative savings and that all makes sense, but what can we do in this case, that means all the buildings that were built in late 70s, 80s can never get LEED points?
TIA

Our projects in these type of situations tend to find more success using the Prescriptive Path for the credit and prerequisite (using either the v4 or v4.1 version of the credit).

Take a look at LEED Interpretation 10454, which allows the existing envelope to be modeled in the Baseline in exchange for higher point thresholds.
