NC-v4 EQp1:Minimum indoor air quality performance

Mechanical Ventilation Hotel Room

Hi,

I am supporting the design team for an hospitality building, rooms will be mechanically ventilated and will be composed by a bedroom, a living area and a bathroom.

Mechanical Ventilation air inlet is located in bedroom while the extraction is in bathroom, both systems are continuously active, h24.

With this configuration, air will enter from the bedroom, will go through living area and will finally be extracted by the bathroom.

It is the first time that I deal with this destination, I did not find any indication on Ashrae manuals on this specific topic and I wonder if there could be any issue with this configuration.

Thanks in advance for your support and attention

Francesco

I would say it's "Makeup supply drawn in on the opposite side of the room from the exhaust, return, or both"

Thanks for you reply Andrey, so it should be an acceptable solution. Correct?

I have had experience with LEED v3 - we used for dwelling units ventilation volume per 62.2 it was accepted.  Better to file a request for GBCI.
