Hi all,
I have heard that some teams have done a credit substitution from a v4.1 (New Construction) project backwards to the v4.0 criteria. I am somewhat skeptical of being able to do this but feel that I had that information from a reliable source. Has anybody out there succussfully made this reverse credit substitution? Thanks.

A couple years ago I mistakenly selected "v4.1" when registering a project. I asked GBCI if I could pull up v4 credits and their response was "no".
So I re-registered the project as v4.
Please post if you learn otherwise.
Good Luck!

Don't forget that 4.1 has totally different VOC compounds than V4. If the lab didn't look for all of them then you wouldn't be able to meet the criteria of V4.

Follow up and verifiying Daves comment above, we have received a response from the USGBC: if a project is registered under v4.1 then it is not possible to do a credit substitution backwards to v4.0. This applies to the IAQ testing protocol as well as all other credits.
