Monitoring during LEED Review stage ?

Hi, All!

We have selected the Combined review process. I would appreciate it if you could advise, whether during the review stage the monitoring at the project site is mandatory by the USGBC review team. And if yes, do they sometimes pay unplanned visits to the site?

Thank you.

No one visits the project site. There are no LEED police or on site inspectors.

....adding onto Marcus's correct guidance in the event those who design/build single family homes come across this thread.  The LEED for Homes program requires the LEED Green Rater & Energy Rater to visit the site.  A LEED Residential Provider Organization is required to oversee the certification process. (Green Rater establishes this entity) My first LEED for Homes project fell apart because they engaged us LEED consultants too late, and we did not know about the required team structure.
