I have an ID+C project that takes up approximately half of a floor in a building. When laying out the LEED project boundary, I was confused as to whether to include the restrooms, since it was clear they would not be included in scope originally but now it seems they will included in scope under HVAC trade. Meaning their ceilings and floors will remain in place, the lighting would not change, the only thing that would change is HVAC upgrade. The ceiling and lighting would have to be removed for HVAC installation and then put back in place when it's finished. Since those spaces only have HVAC upgrade and nothing else, can I or should I include them in the LEED project boundary?
