I am researching the green building product supply chain and have been focusing on the Location Valuation Credit as an incentive for developing a more robust green building product manufacturing presence in Appalachia. The Location Valuation Credit is an important component of my current argument for developing a local supply chain. I've skimmed the available credit material for LEED v5 and was not able to find anything regarding the Location Valuation Credit or incentivizing locally sourced products/materials. Does LEED v5 include anything about local production/sourcing, as far as you can tell?
