Unregulated Loads - Contribution to % Improvement in Energy Performance

For a manufacturing facility where unregulated loads exceed 50% of total energy, can energy efficiency improvements to unregulated manufacturing loads contribute to achieving a greater percentage improvement in energy performance?

Yes. Such measures need to follow the exceptional calculation method. Make sure to establish a clear and defensible baseline relative to the energy saving strategies you are installing in the manufacturing process. The baseline should be defined as standard practice in that particular situation in your area.
