Training on for Running In-House Energy Models

We have several projects that are small enough that we don't hire consultants to run energy models. I just received permission to do some training so that I can run these models myself. I am looking at doing this training on eQuest:

I am thinking it would be most valuable to train on how to run the LEED compliant baseline comparison energy models so that I can run those for projects that are pursuing LEED certification. I am thinking that if I can do this kind of energy model, then I should be able to also run SD level shoebox models etc.

Do you have any suggestions on whether this is the best software to use or is there a better training course I should do?

Hi Douglas, I'm seeing that you haven't gotten any responses yet on this interesting question. I wonder if reposting it on the Green Commons might bring some engineers into the conversation with suggestions...

Douglas, I've been on this topic rabbit hole for so long, I may have some "food for thought" that I can share with you. If you want something open source & using energy plus engine, you may want to look into OpenStudio as opposed to eQuest. https://openstudio.net/ Let me know if you think it would be beneficial to have a quick chat..
