NC-v4.1 LTc5:Access to Quality Transit

Combining number of trips

Hello All,

I am doing calculations fro the Access to Quality Transit.

I have a bus stop within 1/4 mile from the project location and a light rail station within 1/2 mile walking distance. The bus does not have any connection with the light rail station but both goes in the same direction.

So when calculating can the number trips of the bus and light rail be combined?

Not sure what you mean by combined - just add the total trips for both the bus stop and the rail station to your total. For example if you have 20 rail trips per weekday and 100 bus trips, you have 120 total weekday trips.
