LEED O+M as an alternative to ASHRAE level 1 audit

Hi to everyone, 

if the project is pursuing LEED 0+M, can it be an alternative to ASHRAE level 1 audit? or if the project is pursuing LEED O+M, using ASHRAE level 1 will be considered as pilot credit. or is it mandatory to pursue both?
