Public park adjacent to the project boundary

Hello,

The project is not meeting the requirements. We only achieved 26% for outdoor space and 15% for vegetated space. Can I use a public park area that shares the same boundary as the project? We have created an internal ramp to connect the project with the park.

I noticed this thread https://leeduser.buildinggreen.com/forum/overhead-vegetated-canopy but I want to confirm if this approach would be valid.

I think you can't actually claim any park area toward your open space count, but you might have some luck submitting the 26%/15% as is and highlighting the added ramp as providing direct access to additional open space. This would be a "special circumstances" approach and up to the discretion of the reviewer, so not something we can advise on whether it will succeed. Unless anyone here has experience submitting something similar!
