Schools-NC-v4.1 EQc2:Low-Emitting Materials

CDPH v1.2-2017 using a Classroom Environment, for BD+C: Schools

Hi all,

Question regarding the Low-Emitting Materials credit and CDPH v1.2-2017. I have a Greenguard Gold certificate for Rockwool AFB (3147-420), and the certificate states the following:

"Wall finishes are determined compliant in accordsnce with California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Standard Method v1.2-2017 using a Classroom Environment..."

As this is a BD+C: Schools project, would this Greenguard Gold certificate qualify for compliance? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Cam, If it is for BD+C: Schools project, then using UL Greenguard Gold is compliant  with CDPH v1.2-2017 using a classroom enviornment scenario. But this is not valid/non-compliant for New Construction (Office) projects.
