Hello Pros,
I am working on a student residential building (NC) that will have advanced submetering for the 5 floors.
The accountable submetering consumption is for each floor, not unit.
Please confirm that I do not need a monitor/display at each floor. It is proposed that there will be one main monitor/display showing each floors consumption on the ground floor main lobby.
I did not see a requirement for multiple displays in the LEED NC Reference guide.
Thank You!

It seems like you might be confusing the requirements for LEED CS and LEED NC. CS requires at least one per floor and focuses on tenant energy use. For NC projects the requirement is to submeter by energy end use (heating, cooling, lighting, fans, pumps. plug loads, etc). This can prove to be very difficult in residental projects. So submetering by floor would not meet those requirements. You are correct that you would not need multiple displays in either scenario.

Thank you for your response and sorry for the confusion regarding the floor being submetered. It is per panel/area.
Thanks again.
