Has anyone ever had EPS Geo Foam on a project? We have a project where the foam is used underneath bleechers, inside the main concrete structure but also enclosed in an additional layer of concrete. Finished are then applied to the concrete. This foam is not technically insulation, wall or ceiling material, but can be considered inside the weatherbarrier - though enclosed by concrete. Would you include it in any of your LEM categories?

Hi Angi - If it's entirely enclosed in concrete, then I would ignore it. Unless it's inteded use is as insulation, then maybe you want to include it, even it's "does not meet criteria"? Tho the Geofoam website says it contains no HCFCs or formaldehyde https://www.insulfoam.com/geofoam-structural-insulation/
Maybe they can provide some additional info if you reach out? I might be more concerned with whatever adhesive was used to hold the blocks together. Hope that helps!
