How can individual thermal comfort controls be achieved for individual workstations in an open office?

Hi Martin, You may use ceiling fans, adjustable underfloor diffusers, task-mounted controls (such as plug-in desktop fans, humidifiers, or dehumidifiers), and operable windows.

Hi Martin,

As stated on LEED BD+C v4 guide page 698, it can be achieved if the eligible thermal comfort control in this area is provided, which allows occupants to control air temperature, radiant temperature, air speed, and humidity.
For individual workstation in open office, provision of task fan for each individual workstation should be enough. Please also take note that at least 50% of individual occupant spaces shall have individual thermal control.
