Data-Centers-NC-v4.1 EAc5:Renewable Energy

On-site and off-site renewable energy

A new data center will be constructed in a university campus. If the new building connects with the renewable energies generated within the campus but not within the building site boundary, can it be counted as on-site or off-site energy generation?

It is considered on-site if it is located on the same campus.
