CI-v4 INc2:LEED Accredited Professional

Can someone with old LEED AP credentials

For the LEED CI project that I'm currently working on.  We are looking to pursue the LEED Accredited Professional credit, the thing is I would use my credentials but it's only for LEED AP BD+C.  But there is someone on staff who has the original LEED AP credentials before it broke out into specialties.  Since that person's LEED AP credentials would appear more neutral, could we use hers to comply with the credit?

substitute the v4.1 credit. The current v4.1 ID+C ref guide allows a LEED AP BD+C credential holder to achieve this credit on CI projects.

There's no way to upgrade this v4 project to v4.1 But what about those who hold just a LEED AP credential without any specialties?  Could they be able to pursue the LEED AP credit?

https://www.usgbc.org/articles/using-credit-substitutions-leed-online-video you do not need to upgrade the entire project, you can sub v4.1 on a credit-by-credit basis. check out the video link above. hope this helps!

Hello Dave.  Thanks again for providing that information.  However, when I checked the forum for the LEED v4.1 version of this credit, people were still saying someone only with a LEED AP ID+C credential can pursue this credit.  Can you please provide the link to the current v4.1 ID+C reference guide?  I just want to double check for myself.  Thank you.

Here is the link to the most current edition of the v4.1 ID+C reference guide. https://build.usgbc.org/ID+C_Guide Page #176 of the guide states "Select a project team member with a LEED AP Interior Design + Construction (LEED AP ID+C) credential or LEED AP Building Design + Construction (LEED AP BD+C)" credential must be active/current at the time of certification review.
