Hi, My project in Europe is targeting this MR4 credit with the REACH optimisation option. My question is: can I use PEPs that shows environmental performance and same time states compliance with REACH optimisation lists as evidence? Or it must be a manufacturer statement on its own.

Ehab, I'm not 100% certain of the answer, but I know that in other threads, people have noted that GBCI does not accept one kind of documentation to work across two different credits. For example, you apparently can't use a statement about Low-Emitting Materials compliance if it appears on an EPD. REACH compliance could be different, though. I'd be interested to hear how other projects in Europe are meeting the documentation requirements for the REACH ACP.

Hi Ehab, we often happened to find Cradle 2 Cradle certificates (or HPDs or Declare or similar) for most of the products that also had EPD, and went with the Option 1 (or 2 if we had only C2C v3), which proved sufficient. There is C2C own databank online, as do others, see if you are able to gather enough for compliance it takes minutes :)
Otherwise, if your method proves to be working please inform us it would be a relief at times to do so.
Kind regards
Azra

Hello Ehab,
Any recommendations for other European projects pursing the REACH Optimisation path? For Europe does one need to show the REACH report and PHD too ? Thanks
