Resilience Resource Database | beta test

Resilience Resource Database

The Defining and Measuring Resilient Outcomes Working Group has been developing a Resilience Resource Database as a repository for resources related to the topic of resilience in our built environment.

This database and map are endeavoring to show resources for resilient design across the country to help plan for acts of nature, failures of systems, and adversarial acts. We are crowdsourcing resources at the national, watershed, state, municipal, region, and building scale.  Any type of resource that you think is relevant - case studies, policies, tools, information resources, or other will be welcome!

We are looking to the Green Gurus community to beta test the initial draft airtable database and provide feedback to us via this survey.

Air Table Instructions:

There are two ways to engage the database, either by searching data entries, which can be sorted by location or hazard type, or by browsing the map at the right.

To submit a data entry to the database, complete this form. Including a physical address is critical for this to be visible on the map, so for national links, please list a headquarters or main office.

The beta period is planned from June 21, 2023 - September 21, 2023.  We are looking forward to your feedback!

Nicole Voss and I did a short presentation about the (developing) Resilience Resource Database at the SDL summit earlier this week, and really appreciated the feedback we received in person.  I'd like to put out a 2nd ask to all the members of Green Gurus to take a quick look if you can find the time and do the following:  1. Just play around with the tool and see how it works for you. 2. Add a resource if you know of something that's missing (since this is a new database, we suspect there is plenty that is missing... thus our efforts to crowdsource!).  We are mainly after case studies, policies, tools, hazard assessments, information resources - but honestly, whatever you think has high value to be shared in this database.  To submit an entry to the database, complete this form. Including a physical address is critical for entries to be visible on the map, so for national links, please list a headquarters or main office. 3. Provide general experience feedback to us via this survey  This will help us improve the tool moving forward. We are still hoping to keep the beta period as June 21, 2023 - September 21, 2023 and are looking forward to your feedback!
