NC-v4 EAc2:Optimize energy performance

Creating Baseline ΗVΑC system selection based on ΑSHRAE 90.1-2010 - Does Ground Floor count as….

Hello to all LEED Users,

 

Ιn our project the Building (nonresidential – 8.000 m2)  consists of following levels:

  • Ground Floor
  • 1st Floor
  • 2nd Floor
  • 3rd Floor
  • 4th Floor
  • 5th Floor

Are the levels considered as 6 Floors or 5 Floors?

Does Ground Floor count as a Floor?

So can I choose from Table G3.1.1A System 8 ( Nonresidential – more than 5 Floors – Electric)?

If the ground floor is occupied space than it counts as a floor, so 6 floors.
