CI-v4 MPR2:Must use reasonable LEED boundaries

Excluding spaces from the project's LEED Boundary

Hello,

We are currently designing office space that will occupy a portion of the 1st level and the entire 3rd level of a building, with a staircase connecting the two spaces.

Part of the space on the 1st level consists of special studios that are designed by a separate vendor and are beyond our control. We are wondering if it is possible to exclude that space from the project’s LEED boundary, as we have no control over it. The spaces can be physically defined and separated with partitions and doors but they are intented to be used by the same office space users.

Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Nadia, did you find out how to deal with the project?

For me it sounds tricky and maybe beyong the border of gerrymindering. It's wiser to contact and work with second vendor. Maybe smbd has other experience and pint of view.
