A project pursuing MRpc123 Procurement of Low Carbon Construction Materials is using Cemco Sure-Board, which is a prefabricated fiber cement panel and steel assembly. This product does not have a Product Specific EPD. Since the product would classify under more than one material category, which category baseline should be used?

As stated in LEED guide, when it is unclear product category, project teams may classify elements either way, as they deem appropriate. So, with this condition you may use board panel as the baseline product category based on its general function in the project. Best regard – Afogreen Build Team
