CS-v4 EAp2:Minimum energy performance

Exhaust fan in energy model

Hi there,

I am currently modeling the HVAC system for a mall building energy model. I wonder if It is recommendable/required to include the exhaust fan (Kitchen, parking, garbage room, WC,... as per ASHRAE 62.1 exhaust air rates) in the energy model or if the exhaust fan consumption could be calculated apart from the energy model.

What would you recommend?

We would include them in the models. You must include the ones that may have an impact on anopther energy end use such as a fan in a conditioned or semi-conditioned space.
