LEED ND MPR

I'm hoping someone knows the anser to this question. For the LEED ND certification the minimum requirement is "The LEED project should contain at least two habitable buildings and be no larger than 1500 acres." Does habitable mean buildings with dwelling units?

I do not think so, think it requires separate buildings. Specifically I have a project that has one large multifamily residential building and then another building that has a community center and retail.

This is fine, I've seen ND projects that are 100% commercial. "Habitable" = occupiable. So, LEED-ND for your community center and retail: yes. LEED-ND for a community center and the parking garage next to it: no.
