Model the Additional Lighting allowances for baseline and proposed cases

My jewelry store (100m2) has general lighting on the ceiling and millwork lighting for decorative purposes. The general lighting is 16W/m2 compared to the baseline of 18 W/m2. The millwork lighting is 19 W/m2 while the ASHRAE allowance is 1000W+(100m2 * 27W/m2) = 3,700W

in the LEED calculator, at the Table additional lighting allowance. It said the baseline and proposed model should be the same. but we have 2 different LPD, one based on design 19W/m2 and the other is the ASHRAE allowance 3700W or 37W/m2. So what number should I use to model for both baseline and proposed? Thanks for your insights.

You can't claim savings on the added allowance. So if the proposed value is below the allowance both models use the proposed value.

Thanks Marcus, then what happens if the proposed value is above the allowance? the proposed is the design value and baseline is the ASHRAE allowance?

If the proposed is above the allowance you pay a penalty, modeling the proposed valune in the proposed model and the allowance in the baseline model.
