We are having a tough time getting the costs from our subs. The subs says that the cost is bundled with other material and they can't break it up. Some are having to go there superiors to get it and even then it is difficult. So if all products in one category comply with the VOC emissions evaluation do we need to list the cost or surface area?

Hi Summer,
In my experience, you don't have to provide cost or SF information if all your products comply with emissions requirements. However, you need to put a "1" in the column you choose in the calculator or it won't show compliance. The standard response from USGBC reviewers is that they prefer to have that information in case something you present as documentation doesn't pass muster for them. Without threshold information, they won't be able to determine compliance if that happens. As always put an explanation in the Special Circumstances.
