The language of the Pilot Credit now requires Communications (data cabling).
We'd like to pursue this PC on our projects where we have already developed a WBLCA, so that we can take advantage of the Revit quantities and the Tally-EC3 data import functionality. Data Cabling is not something we have modeled in Revit (and we also do not model Carpet), which makes this PC risky to pursue. We also don't collect data cabling information from submittals for the Building Products credits, so this is an additional material that seems very challenging to get quantities for.
Has anyone run into this and have recommendations?
Another note: The tables within the PC language do not completely align with the required minimum materials we need to document. The tables look to be the original PC language, but the minimum materials have been expanded to include things like aluminum, cladding, and data cabling. Something that would be good to coordinate in any future update.

I'm wondering whether any other teams have challenges finding quantities and sustainable options for cabling. I have not been able to locate any EPDs to date and would welcome suggestions regarding manufacturers providing EPDs for data cabling.
Carpet seems easier for us, as we typically pursue the LEM flooring credit where the carpet information has to be submitted. We tend to pursue that category by area so all we need to do is convert sf to m2. We also recommend to the architects we work with, to select carpet meeting BPDO EPD and MI credits, so frequently, we have EPDs for the carpet and other flooring used in the project what is very helpful for this pilot credit.
