Healthcare-v4.1 WEp2:Indoor Water Use Reduction

Infection control resistance to WaterSense fixtures

Has anyone run into a challenge with patient room faucets? We seem to have an infection control team that won't allow less than the 2.2 gpm flow rate, which is not WaterSense compliant. It's a prerequisite, so, kind of important to find a path that works.

I have had a similar situation where patient / client rooms each had a faucet. We are allowed to include or exclude these fixtures at our discretion so the WS label requirement was not a show-stopper. But it has been a few years since that project and GBCI may be enforcing it differently now.
