Does a Regional Detention Pond for a planned development count as 'buildable land' per LEED?  We think since it has been set aside for water retention, is should not be included in the 'buildable land' definition.  Thanks.

I agree. Nothing is permanent forever but if we apply the reasoning to other infrastruction (roads, for example) we should be able to do the same for a regional detention pond.
