Hello everyone,
We have dishwashers that do not hold an energy star certificate but their performance (idle energy rate, energy washing and water consumption) are below the ENERGY STAR limit thresholds. Is this sufficient or do we need specific documents to submit to the GBCI reviewers? do we have ask manifacturer how the measurements of these indicators were made? Do we need letters of declaration?

In Sweden where we do not have Energy star on dishwashers and washing machines, I have used the strategy you mention above. For some nursing homes it has been mainly washing machines – then I have not provided any information about the machines, but I have kept track of all data and been prepared to show it all if the reviewers ask. I have saved a link to each data sheet.
For dishwashers it has been mainly in hotels, there the requirements are hard and specific (commercial dishwashers). There I have provided copies of all data sheets, marked all relevant information, and uploaded them, together with a list of all appliances in a spreadsheet (dishwashers, ice-makers, ovens, washing machines etc).

The requirements in the guide indicate Energy Star or performance equivalent as the requirement, so your selection should be fine. It wouldn't hurt to put a note on the cutsheet indicating that it is better than equivalent. (also answered under the Credit where this question was posted)
