NC-v4 WEc2:Indoor water use reduction

how to justify the conformity of our dishwashers with energy star while knowing that they do not hold the ENERGY STAR certific?

Hello everyone,

We have dishwashers that do not hold an energy star certificate but their performance (idle energy rate, energy washing and water consumption) are below the ENERGY STAR limit thresholds. Is this sufficient or do we need specific documents to submit to the GBCI reviewers? do we have  ask manifacturer how the measurements of these indicators were made? Do we need letters of declaration?

Thanks you!

The requirements in the guide indicate Energy Star or performance equivalent as the requirement, so your selection should be fine. It wouldn't hurt to put a note on the cutsheet indicating that it is better than equivalent.
