So the contractor is providing submittals for paint materials, they state in their copy of the BPDO calculator that the products comply with Option 1 since the products have Manufacturer Declared CSRs. However, when I reviewed their supporting documents I did not see any CSRs, I did see their DECLARE labels which are associated with the BPDO Material Ingredients credit. This might be a rookie question, but can their DECLARE labels act as Manufactuer Declared CSRs for this credit?

Hi, Edgar! Unfortunately, as we explain in detail on the LEEDuser's Viepoint tab for this credit, CSR reports are really a red herring here. And no, Declare labels don't count toward the credit either. I recommend upgrading to v4.1 for this credit if you want to have a prayer of achieving both points.

I will second Paula's recommendation to substitute the v4.1 credits, espechially if you want to earn both Opt 1 and Opt 2 for EPDs, Sourcing of Raw Materials (only 1 option, but two thresholds), and the Material Ingreidents credits. A helpful guide was released this summer that details what is required and what to look for in the reports and other documentation to comply with these credits.
