Modification of the lighting boundary - 4 lane street

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask for a clarification related to the allowed modification of the lighting boundary.

We have a project where there is a public walkway along the fasade of the certified project, followed by a street with four lanes.

Assuming we can move the lighting boundary to the center line of the adjacent street (as allowed in the LEED manual), I would like to clarify if we can move the line just to the centre of the first street lane which is adjacent to the building, or the line can be shifted further, up to the centre of the 4lane street?

Thank you for any thoughts on this.

Anna

I think you can move it to the center line of the 4 lane roadway. The idea is that the lighting boundary is half of the distance from your property to the property on the other side of the street
