Inflation Reduction Act + Higher Ed

Hi all - we have several projects where money from the IRA may be able to get projects farther. I've seen the AIA/USGBC webinar and done some other research as well. Does anyone know if there's a Higher Ed group that is chasing down how and when the money is available and for what exact purposes? Are you planning on using consultants to help find the money?

Thanks,

Kjell

I had the same question, but for affordable multifamily! I was also on that AIA/USGBC webinar. I am wondering if there are places that are tracking it more carefully. Rocky Mountain Institute may be one group on the front lines of info. I havent found any others yet. It would be great to keep a thread here for IRA info.  Thank you, Keihly

Hey Kjell, I'm not aware of a group that's formally doing this, but I did come across this article which starts to talk a little bit about the benefits of the IRA for tax-exempt entitites like many colleges and universities: https://www.jdsupra.com/legalnews/inflation-reduction-act-levels-2695137/ I haven't dug into it much more than that, but I'm definitely keeping an eye out and happy to share info if/when I find it.
