Coming up in September : NYC Mini-Summit and Happy Hour

Hello Green Gurus,

Here are all the details about our Peer Network event in NYC on Wednesday, September 28th. If you'll be in town, we hope to see you!

From 1-5pm we'll have the NYC Regional Mini-Summit, open to members of any of the five Peer Networks (Sustainability Consultants, Community Design Leaders, Contractors, Architects, and MEP Engineers). This is a chance to get (re)acquainted within and across our networks, dig into some locally relevant topics, and talk about the value and work of current/future regional groups. We'll be at the FXCollaborative Office (1 Willoughby Square, 7th Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11201). Because this is a Regional Mini-Summit, folks who work farther afield can join, with the knowledge that NYC Region-specific topics will be the focus. See results of previous Mini-Summits here.

Following the Mini-Summit, there will be a Happy Hour starting at 5:30pm at Circa Brewing Co. 141 Lawrence St, Brooklyn, NY 11201, to spend some time networking and relaxing!

Please register for our NYC Regional Mini-Summit here, we look forward to seeing you!

Hi folks, Plans are coming together nicely for next Wednesday's Regional Mini-Summit in NYC, and it's not too late to join! We'll get to check out FXCollaborative's cool new digs at 1 Willoughby Square in Brooklyn, connect with friends old and new, and roll up our sleeves for some interdisciplinary work on challenges facing us in New York City. The agenda hasn't been finalized yet, but topics that are bubbling to the top include:
  • Materials Reuse in NYC
  • Leveraging Local Law 97 to accelerate decarbonization
  • Embodied carbon in concrete--driving change in the NYC metro area
  • Congestion pricing in Manhattan, and
  • the Future of infrastructure for big cities in an energy-constrained world
If you're in NYC, or interested in joining these conversation and can get to NYC, please join us. Learn more and register here. Nadav
