Enterprise Green Communities

Hi everyone,
The city of Portland recently expanded acceptable certifications for affordable housing projects they provide funding for to include Enterprise Green Communities Certification. Other options are LEED (flavor depends on project size) and Earth Advantage Multifamily, which is a regionally owned and operated certification. This certifcation is not something I or any of the folks we normally work with is very familiar with, so -

Questions: do any of you have experience with the Enterprise Green Communities Certification? How does it stack up to LEED for Homes Multifamily Midrise or LEED BD+C? Any tricky things that tripped you up? Is there a stable of consultants who know it back to front?

THANKS!

NYC has required it for 15 years or LEED, documentation is similar but simpler, we have done over 5o buildings with egc if you have questions.

The most important question: given the choise between EGC and LEED, which do projects usually choose? Sounds like EGC.
