Description
According to the Social Determinants of Health, our greatest opportunity to advance health equity is to focus on shifts to our physical and social environments. Over the last year, IWBI has been on a journey to develop an equity-focused rating alongside 44 co-chairs and 158 advisors from 26 countries. Our goal is to create an evidence-based tool that drives accountability and action for justice, equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility. Drawing from features found in the WELL Standard, the rating will be centered on supporting marginalized and underrepresented populations and will allow organizations to craft their own roadmaps based on their priorities and the people they serve.
