Hi, we have a project for NC, they plan to use manual watering system for the landscape outside the house (they have water dispensers available, the staff will discharge into the bucket and water manually) . Is it possible for me to calculate the effect of reducing water use using this method (relative to Distribution Uniformity, DU). i'm not sure LEED can accept this approach, anyone have any experience?

I have asked GBCI in the past about inclusion of regular hose bibs, and they confirmed that they are not considered permanently installed irrigation systems, and therefore are not to be tracked as part of this Prereq or associated Credit.

Hello,
Currently I am working in a project which does not have an irrigation system, and will be watered with collected water from rain.
"Once a week (more often in the growing months and on hot summer days), the planting area must be watered with a garden hose. A cistern is provided in the outdoor areas for this purpose, which is fed with rainwater from the roof drainage system. In addition, the planting areas are covered with a layer of lava to prevent excessive evaporation."
Based on what the previous comment says, woudl it fit under "option 1"?
