Skipping the IAQ Assessment for CO2 and TVOC

Yes, it is possible to comply with the prerequisite by performing in a single category achieving the minimum 8 points.

I always try to execute the 3 topics: occupant survey, CO2 measurements and TVOC measurements. But I know projects that achieved the prerequisite only with the survey; only with both measurements and only with the survey plus CO2 measurement. As long as you obtain 8 points.

Hi Patric, as I can see you have some experience with air testing :) Can you help me with understanding how to choose measurement location? I have 10 storey office building with many Tenants - sometimes more than one per floor. Shall we test every open space in every Tenant's premises? Or one testing per floor shall be enough? or even less? I can see no clear guidelines on that :(

In order to define and select the number of test points, I recommend you apply the credit IEQc Indoor Air Quality Assessment - Option 2 from the LEED v4 BD+C reference guide.

That`s where the most recent requirements for this matter are described. I`ve always used this credit to determine the amount of sampling points and locations and the credit has always been achieved.
