The current language requires a Level 2 charging capacity with 208-240 volts or greater for each space.
In the past we've installed conduit and wiring for dual chargers (1 charger using dual plugs to serve 2 spaces) and each charger was fed by (1) 208 volt circuit. If both spaces are plugged in at the same time then the dual charger splits that voltage, essentially providing 104 volts per car thus a slower charge.
If we interpret this differently, than a dedicated 208 volts is required for every space and the electrical service and cost increases significantly making this point unfeasible.
Has anyone had push back on (1) 208 volt circuit for the dual port Level 2 chargers?

Hi Natalie, this is an excellent point - have you had a response on this?
Thanks
