Thermal comfort control for hotel lobby, bar, restaurant

Good morning

I have a question relating thermal comfort in a hotel building.

The protocol require to have thermal comfort controls allow occupant whether in individual spaces or shared multioccupant spaces, to adjust at least one of the following in their local environment: air temperature, radiant temperature, air speed, and humidity.

In the shared multioccupant spaces, like lobby area, bar area and restaurant area can I provide thermal comfort control that can be usable only by hotel staff at the request of the costumers? Many hotel managers do not allow the customer to manage the thermostats, except in the rooms.

Hi,  I have the same doubt, the dining room will be equipped with temperature probes, not controllable thermostats. Therefore the temperature can be modified by the staff from the control panel of the AHU, eventually after occupants request, but it is not controlled by the occupants directly, it wouldn't be practical...is it acceptable for the credit? thanks

HI, I just received communication from GBCI that this solution is accepted for the credit: "For spaces that are predominantly used by visitors, such as lobbies, auditoriums, restaurant dining areas, and mall concourses, it is acceptable for thermal comfort controls to be accessible only to staff, and for staff to make adjustments on behalf of visitors."  Best regards, Martina
