NC-v4 SSc6:Light pollution reduction

BUG Method Clarificarion

Dear Concern :-

I have doubts in BUG rating Mounting height

in my case my Light mounting height is 4 m and it is just 10 m away from project boundary edge can i take as 2< mounting height type and i have another light it is placed at compound wall and it is mounting height is 2 m can i take this as below 0.5 mounting type list , Is it correct ??

in some case we mount the light at compound wall or very near to wall in this case how can we go with BUG rating ??

As per Local Goverment rules we have provided some light outer the boundary is it comes under Exception ??

( The Lights provided outside Boundary also considered in Energy Modeling )

what are the lights comes at all other luminare becaus instead of Below 0.5 mounting height distance from lighting boundary we take all other luminare we can get more glare allowance

A 4m high fixture is located 10m away from the project boundary.  The fixture is > 2 mounting heights.
Any fixture mounted at the project boundary (at the compound wall).  The fixture is < 0.5 mounting heights. What do you mean by "placed at compound wall"?  Is the fixture mounted on top of the wall or on the face of the wall?  Inside or outside face of wall? The way to use BUG rating for fixtures at the compound wall.  What is the lighting zone?  LZ2?
Limit uplight to U2
If mounted on top of wall, Limit backlight to B0.  Orient fixture so the "back" faces the property line.
Limit glare to G2 if on top of the wall.  Or G0 if on outside face of wall.
Select a light fixture that has these levels or lower. Since there is a wall I'm assuming lights are being added for security purposes.  If your desire is to shine the lights outwards to see stuff approaching the wall then this credit is not compatible.

We have a similar problem with the SSc6: Light pollution reduction credit.   We are working on a manufacturing facility for LEED NC V4 with exterior lighting fixtures mounted on the inner face of the compound wall. The lighting fixtures will not have a backlight at all, as the compound wall will block the backlight trespass. The project is located in LZ3, and the backlight requirement is B1. Will the fact that the compound wall will block the backlight trespass exempt us from the B1 requirement?

Aviv, The credit requirements say: "Orient all luminaires less than two mounting heights from the lighting boundary such that the backlight points toward the nearest lighting boundary line. Building-mounted luminaires with the backlight oriented toward the building are exempt from the backlight rating requirement."

I think that the wall you are mounting on would be considered part of the building
